Valentine's date - Sensual, Romantic or Sexy?
Clothing as Symbols · How to wear · Midlife Style · Style · Style Consultation

Do you have any plans for Valentines? What fascinates me is that without words we can send a message and expect results from it.

Feeling sensual
What means dressing and feeling sensual?
Two words - SUGGESTIVE and CAPTIVATING
To create this look, wear monochromatic or low contrast combinations. The line design is soft and elongated. The body is there but it is subtly revealed. Nothing is there in your face. The fabrics are deliciously touchable and transparency may be present. The necklaces "point to" and the eyes are well defined. Got the image?
What if you want to send a different message...
You really want to feel sexy.

Think STIMULATING and PROVOKING DESIRE.
This is not a visual universe for every woman. You need to be strong and be able to carry it. Also, I believe in being age appropriate. As I live the last decade of my midlife, I personally can't do it.
If you are brave enough to try, here are the visual direction.
Colors are deep and intense. Animal prints are part of this visual universe. The clothing are close to the body with well-defined waist and shoulders. Lingerie pieces, deep necklines, and slits are all part of the sexy world. For fabrics, pattern leather, lamé, leather, and anything that sparkles. Finally, the eyes and month are well defined.
Can you imagine the zipper of the leather skirt half way up. I can!
Finally, you can tell me that you are beyond the time of wanting to feel sensual and sexy.
Maybe, all you want is to feel romantic...
Dressing romantically means dressing above the everyday reality.
Think ETHEREAL and ORNATE

Colors are feminine and the silhouette of the clothing has a soft curved line. Imagine fabrics that float. Skirts and dresses are the main pieces with drapes, bows, and ruffles. If you have medium or long length hair, add some waves. It will only reenforce the romantic message.
Finally, what is better than hearts as adornment for a romantic Valentines dinner.
So, are you ready for a memorable Valentines celebration?
