Sloping Shoulders
I took a picture of this Modigliani at the Barnes Foundation. The blue bow takes the eyes to the sloping shoulders. Here are some suggestions to optically change the contour of a sloping shoulder:
- Wear shoulder pads
- Puffed sleeves (a trend this season), epaulets
- Play with more dimension in the clothing
- Have lines on the construction of the garment to take the eye away from shoulders.
