Color Red Trend

It's been said that in the post-Covid reality, dressing up has taken a back seat. But let me challenge that notion for a moment.

Remember the Enclothed Cognition which it is the effects of clothing on our mental and emotional processes? Or the Cornell University study that emphasized how we still judge a 'book' by its 'cover', even after 'reading' it? It's proof of the power of appearance.

So, here's my invitation to you: Dress up, not for anyone else, but for yourself. Embrace a new trend this season and see if it sparks something within you. Experiment with your style; it's an act of self-care and self-love.

Let's bring ourselves back into focus and start dressing with intention once again.

And never underestimate the power of your image. It can draw people closer or push them away. It can even be the secret weapon in achieving your personal and professional goals - the power of visual universes.

Speaking of trends...

At this stage in life, I seek an updated look while maximizing the potential of my existing wardrobe. The mantra? Less pieces, but better quality, and I shop in my closet before hitting the stores for something new.

I chose these trends as my favorites because they are already part of my closet, and the best part, in the right color and style.

#1 THE COLOR RED

If you have a color palette already, lucky you. Finding that perfect hue of red is magical.

Red was very pronounced on the runways. Strong red dresses for evening, red in pantsuits, gloves, bags, shoes. Some people can handle wearing head-to-toe red while other may prefer to bring dabs of it to an outfit.

If you need some energy, wearing red can bring you an energy boost.

#2 THE MAXI COAT

Another trend that I've loved for a long time is maxi coats. They add drama to any look. Mine is a camel-colored wrap coat that is very 1930s.

#3 MONOCHROMATIC COLOR HARMONY

Monochrome outfits can be seen as boring, but you can avoid this by using different shades and textures of the same color. This will create a look that is both stylish and eye-catching.

#4 TAILORING AND REFINEMENT

I adore the feeling of refinement that a tailored piece gives. To tap into this trend, invest in a high-quality blazer in a neutral color from your color palette. It will last a long time in your wardrobe and allow you to make the most of your investment.

#5 Animal Print

I believe that animal print is no longer a trend. It shows up on the runways here and there each season, but it really caught my eye this time. If you're not a fan of animal print, you can add it to your outfit as an accessory, such as a belt, shoes, gloves, or scarf.
