Do you find yourself caught up in the endless cycle of fashion trends? The white shirt, the little black dress, black shoes, the Breton stripe top, white denim – the list seems never-ending. As someone who's happily bid farewell to the world of retail, I can now confess, "Every woman needs a white shirt in her closet" was a line I no longer have to endorse.
#1 MUST HAVE A WHITE SHIRT
In this video clip, I shed light on the fact that not all whites are created equal. Your best white might not be the conventional one.
Even something so simple as shoe’s laces can make a difference if they are white or your whites.

Every stick represents a white from a color palette. Depending on your skin, hair and eyes, your best white will be the one that light up your face.
#2 MUST HAVE A LBD
The same principle applies to the color black. If black doesn't resonate with your inner essence, it can weigh heavily on you. It's about aligning with your inherent qualities; for instance, dark-haired women often effortlessly carry off black.
Let's talk about intentionality. If you proclaim, "I love black!" or "I only wear black," consider what emotions you want to convey. What impressions do you wish to leave on those who interact with you? Your clothing's design elements play a crucial role in supporting your intentions. Whether you aim for authority, an urban vibe, sensuality, or mystery, your outfit should echo your purpose.

How to wear black when black is not your best color
Here is an example of me wearing black. Notice how your eyes are drawn to my body rather than my face. Yet, you might declare your love for black. However, being intentional about wearing black requires contemplating the feelings you want to evoke and ensuring your clothing aligns with that goal. Wearing black to hide is not the solution.
#3 MUST HAVE A PAIR OF BLACK SHOES
Now, let's challenge the notion of the "must-have pair of black shoes."

Hair-related Color Shoes
While many stylists insist black is the ultimate choice, it may not work for everyone. The best investment is a pair of shoes in one of your neutrals, determined by your unique color palette. If you're unsure of your palette, look to your hair for guidance. Your hair color is a constant part of your look and can be the key to finding the perfect neutral shoe color for you.
Ultimately, it's time to break free from the trend herd and rediscover your personal style. Embrace your uniqueness, celebrate your individuality, and let your clothing reflect the true you. After all, style is not about following a checklist; it's about expressing yourself authentically and confidently.
